This field visit takes participants across three active sites that together tell a story about what it looks like to manage industrial timberlands for ecological health, economic viability, and market innovation — and what it takes to make that work at scale.

B: From Forest to Future — Building the Innovation Pipeline for a Forest Bioeconomy
Arcata & Samoa Peninsula
From Novel Innovation & Prototyping to Commercialization and Scaling, these assets, facilities and programs are at the heart of catalyzing the forest bioeconomy in our region.

C: A Basis for Growth: Investing in Workforce, Manufacturing, and Tribal Forest Product Innovation
HWY 299 Corridor
This field visit highlights the existing value chain within local manufacturing and production facilities, showcasing tribal forest product production, workforce investment initiatives, and the integration of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).

The Symposium will take place at the Tish-Non Community Center is located at 266 Keisner, Loleta, CA 95551 across from the Recreation Center. If you are using Google Maps, the location is referred to as the Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria Tribal Headquarters which is housed within the Tish-Non Community Center.

There is plenty of on-site parking.
